Searching for Opportunities
As an admin, you can help researchers discover relevant funding opportunities by searching on their behalf using several methods tailored to their specific research interests and profiles.
Search Methods
1. For You Tab - Researcher View
Get a personalized view of opportunities as they would appear to the researcher:

Navigate to the For You tab
Click the "View as researcher" button at the top of the page
Select the researcher you want to view opportunities for
Browse the personalized recommendations based on their research interests
The page will display grants matched to their specific profile and preferences
This method shows you exactly what the researcher would see in their own For You feed, making it easy to identify opportunities they might have missed.
2. Deep Research Tab

To conduct comprehensive research tailored to a specific researcher's profile:
Go to the Deep Research tab
Click the research button on the right-hand side of the page
Select or search for the researcher you want to help
The system will initiate a deep research search using:
The researcher's eligibility profile
Their research interests and background
Advanced matching algorithms for comprehensive results
This method provides the most thorough analysis, leveraging the researcher's complete profile for highly targeted results.
3. Regular Search
Perform standard searches while keeping specific researchers in mind:
Use the main search functionality
Apply filters and search terms relevant to the researcher's field
Consider their career stage, institution type, and research focus
Review results with their specific qualifications and interests in mind
This approach gives you flexibility to explore opportunities using your own search strategies while considering what would be most relevant for the researcher.
Managing and Sharing Results
Once you've identified relevant opportunities through any of these methods, you can:
Create favorites lists to organize opportunities by researcher, theme, or deadline
Share the opportunities with researchers using the grant sharing methods
Make lists public if you want to share with multiple researchers or external collaborators
